BX Group mission is to create lasting corporate value. We are evolving as a “Comfortable Environment Solution Group” in accordance with our long-term vision.

Since its establishment in 1955, Bunka Shutter has provided a comprehensive range of building materials. These include various shutters developed from the perspectives of crime prevention, disaster prevention and mitigation, safety and security and comfort. We also provide doors, partitions, exteriors and water stop products for flood prevention. We operate under an integrated responsibility system that covers manufacturing, sales, installation and after-sales service.
Our business strategy is rooted in two key concepts: “Life-In,” which means offering products developed from the consumer’s perspective, and “Life-Long Partnership,” which aims to build lasting relationships of trust with customers by enhancing our after-sales maintenance system. We are committed to creating value as a group, leveraging our strengths in “technological development,” “research and verification,” “construction,” and “human resources” to support these capabilities. Leveraging these two concepts, we are undertaking initiatives to create value as a group of environmental solution providers, aiming to address social issues.
BX Group entered the second year of its three-year medium-term management plan in April, which will run until 2026. To transition toward a management strategy that emphasizes the efficiency necessary for sustainable growth, the current medium-term plan intends to generate lasting corporate value through effective business operations that utilize invested resources and the development of human resources to support these operations to achieve optimal results. We will also continue to pursue sustainable growth and efficient profit generation through the practice of cost-of-capital management and will continue to pursue management strategies based on the policy of optimal capital structure.
In addition, we will continue to prioritize businesses that align with the principles of ESG management and the SDGs. This focus will include a focus on enterprises that prioritize “ecology and disaster prevention,” contributing to the mitigation and adaptation efforts to address climate change. In recent years, there has been an urgent need for measures to address the summer heat caused by global warming. In response, in fiscal 2024 we launched a “heat shield project” to reduce the temperature rise in buildings. The project targets factories and warehouses as well as school gymnasiums that serve as emergency evacuation centers.
This business will be strengthened and expanded as a core business that contributes to climate change mitigation and adaptation by helping to prevent summer heat stroke and improve the working environment, as well as reducing energy consumption, electricity costs and CO2 emissions when air conditioning is running.
We would like to express our gratitude for your continued support, which has enabled us to reach a significant milestone: the seventieth anniversary of our company’s founding. To commemorate this achievement, we have developed a new slogan, “Not just shutters. Bunka Shutter.” and a mascot character, “Boosha”. These elements will serve as vital tools in our efforts to effectively communicate our commitment to safeguarding the well-being of our communities.
